In Person Reiki Healing
Come back to balance, presence, and alignment
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. These sessions are an invitation to slow down, soften the nervous system, and reconnect with the deeper intelligence within you.

Whether you’re moving through everyday or major stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself in any way, Reiki offers a space where healing unfolds organically, with ease.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality that works with the body’s energetic system to support physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

During a session, gentle hands-on or hands-above touch allows energy to flow where it’s needed most. Many people experience deep relaxation, emotional release, clarity, or a profound sense of calm.

Reiki works subtly but deeply, meeting you exactly where you are. You don’t need to believe in anything specific or prepare in a special way, simply come as you are.

Reiki Can Support
Clients often come to Reiki for support with:

-
Stress, anxiety, and nervous system resilience
-
Emotional processing and release
-
Burnout and fatigue
-
Life transitions or periods of change
-
Grief or heartbreak
-
Feeling disconnected or stuck
-
Deep relaxation and rest
-
Spiritual connection and inner clarity

Every session is unique because your body, energy, and guides lead the process.
What to Expect in a Session
Each session begins with a brief check-in so I can answer any questions you may have, help you acclimate to the space and the process, and then we can set an intention together depending on what you need most from the session.

You’ll then lie comfortably on a treatment table (fully clothed), or sit in a chair if that is more comfortable for your body's needs, while I guide you into relaxation. Soft touch or hands hovering above the body are used while Reiki energy flows, and I will always give you the option to opt in or out of hands-on work.

You may experience:
-
warmth or tingling sensations
-
emotional shifts or imagery
-
deep stillness or sleep-like relaxation
-
a feeling of grounding and spaciousness

There is no “right” experience to have, your system receives exactly what it needs.

We’ll close with time to gently integrate and share any reflections that arose.
My Approach
My work blends Reiki with embodiment, nervous system awareness, and intuitive listening. I hold sessions as collaborative healing spaces: grounded, safe, and deeply respectful of your pace.

Healing happens when we feel supported enough to soften. My role is to hold that supportive container so your body and energy can do what they already know how to do.
Who This Is For
These sessions are for you if you are ready to:
-
slow down and reconnect with yourself
-
support emotional or energetic healing
-
build nervous system resilience naturally
-
receive care without needing to perform or explain everything
-
create space for inner listening and restoration

You don’t need to be spiritual, you only need openness to allow yourself to rest.
The Energetics of Reiki

Reiki is based on the understanding, shared across many ancient healing traditions, that human beings are not only physical, but energetic in nature. Practices from Traditional Chinese Medicine and yoga philosophy describe subtle energy pathways within the body, known as Meridians and Nadis, through which life force energy flows.
Along these pathways are energetic centers often called chakras, which are associated with different aspects of physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing. When energy moves freely, we tend to experience balance, vitality, and clarity; when it becomes stagnant or depleted through stress, trauma, or chronic tension, we may feel disconnected, fatigued, or emotionally overwhelmed.
Reiki works gently within this energetic framework, supporting the restoration of flow and coherence throughout the system. On a literal level, modern science also recognizes that the human body operates through electrical impulses, electromagnetic fields, and bioenergetic communication between cells; reminding us that we are, quite fundamentally, dynamic energetic systems. Reiki sessions aim to support harmony within this living field, inviting the body and nervous system back into a state of regulation and ease.
Reiki is a complementary healing practice and does not replace medical or psychological care. It works beautifully alongside therapy, bodywork, and healthcare support.

The Science & Research Behind Reiki

While Reiki is often experienced as a deeply intuitive and holistic practice, a growing body of scientific research has begun exploring its measurable effects.
Recent randomized controlled trials and meta-analyses suggest Reiki may support reductions in stress and anxiety, improvements in mood, and enhanced overall quality of life. For example, a 2025 randomized controlled study found participants receiving Reiki experienced significantly lower anxiety levels compared to placebo and control groups, highlighting its potential as a non-invasive, side-effect-free supportive therapy. Meta-analyses combining results from hundreds of participants have similarly reported meaningful reductions in anxiety and improvements in wellbeing and quality of life across diverse populations.
